This year’s gathering has no organised tours, the Saturday is free for you to discover our wonderful city and province. Please refer the attached information sheet. Friday evening will be for registration and catch up, Saturday Evening will also allow for registrations and include a display of Highland dancing, a bagpipe demonstration, Ode to the Haggis, Meal and ceilidh (BYO Drinks). Sunday will include Highland games, Kirking of the Tartan and a BBQ lunch.

A list of accommodation providers is attached, please note that at times accommodation can be short due to the many activities that happen down here. So book in early to avoid disappointment.

If you have special dietary requirement’s please let us know so we can let the catering team know.

The Cost to attend this wonderful gathering is $100/person.

Early registrations close on the 15^th November 2019, registrations after this time will be $120/person.

If you would prefer to pay by cheque please make the cheque out to “L A Withington” and send to Menzies Gathering 2020, 234 Dome St, Newfield, Invercargill 9812. (This is due to the difficulty in setting up an org. bank account and money laundering rules.)

A non-refundable deposit of $50pp is required by the 15^th November 2019 with the balance payable by the 1^st April 2020.

Outline of events (approximate programme)

Friday Evening 6-9pm Venue to be Confirmed

Registration and welcome/catch up.

Saturday Evening 5.30-Late Venue is the Scottish Hall Esk St

Registrations, display of highland dancing and bagpipes, Ode to the Haggis, Meal and Toasts, followed by Ceilidh (Little Green Men).

Sunday 10am-1pm Venue to be Confirmed

Kirking of the Tartan, Highland Games followed by a bbq lunch.

Sunday Evening

A get together for those who stay for a debrief and meal, VTBC. (Pay your own way)
